3.00   Life is full of choices – and choices create our experiences.

Cliff reminds us that despite past poor decisions or hiccups you always have another choice. And that’s comforting!

Choice and state of mind go hand in hand, particularly during this pandemic.

5.00   Be the gatekeeper of your own mind. Filter out white noise and you will see opportunities but be mindful that for those in a constant state of fear, the filter is less effective.

Eliminate the negative noises. Specifically, mainstream news with ads and the barrage of startling information. For many,  anxiety levels around Covid reduce when one seeks out one’s own news sources.

Historically, opportunities arise in crisis. Work through the fear and you will see opportunities everywhere.

13.00  Cliff urges you to keep moving forward. Keep moving forward.

13.50  Steps to opportunity include asking yourself? What is in my sphere of control and what isn’t? (eg; during Covid, travel, border closures and supply chain  issues are out of your control)               

Identify how you need to position or reposition your business (pivoting and having hope for the future) Turn your fear into courage – throw the rock and see where it  lands (be afraid but do it anyway)

21.20  Daily routine and discipline are so important. Fill your mind with the right rhetoric. Feed your body. Nutrition is directly linked to your state of mind. And you need to walk (walking is meditation)

Practise gratitude every day. Success and fulfilment are two different things. Keep your mind in a state of gratitude – write down three things every day and keep your state of fear at bay.

Help someone who is doing it tough.

Remember, be the gatekeeper of your mind. Problems are not permanent; things change and a sense of peace can return.

Often we are on autopilot and we do not realise that our attitudes are shaped by insidious influences. It’s so important to monitor outside noise that reduces our mind-clarity
